Had my sister and her boyfriend over for dinner and was feeling less than inspired for something completely new, so thought I would revisit an old favorite. The whole idea for this meal was our anniversary a couple of years back, kids were little, Lance was working late, and we couldn’t make it out for dinner. So I thought I would try to re-create our favorite meal from “Rosa’s” ( albeit with a little less attitude ). Have had the entire meal a few times now for both company and just us. Not quite as nice as the restaurant version, but definitely a close second (possibly as most things taste better when served to you). The recipes for the salad and veal are posted, I always add a side of ravioli (like Olivieri) with a homemade Bolognese sauce…. Just to make it more like Rosa.
P.s. Dini, this is the salad Gord loved, sorry it took a couple years to pass on the recipe!
