Sausage Quiche October 12, 2011

This was a great meal, very easy, quick make ahead and everyone loved it! When I say everyone, I do mean everyone but Colton, he’s just a non-eater…. and Mac well, other than picking the filling off of the pastry (who does that, isn’t the pastry the best part?), it was a success. Will definitely make again. I omitted the jalepeno and used spicy Italian Sausage instead.

Hmmmm never thought of quiche for dinner before but it’s a great idea. Nutritious and yummy and I don’t think a ton of work. Would left overs keep? Speaking of Colton, do you think he’s a bit better since you started the dinner experiment? I know it takes time but I’m wondering if having all these different foods put in front of him is having any effect?

    • It was so good, and sent the rest with lance for lunch and he said it was fantastic… so yes it keeps, next time I will make two pies, maybe freeze one. Colton is still a work in progress, but he doesn’t argue with sitting at the table any more, but still a major challenge to get him to try new foods. Mac on the otherhand, is being worn down slowly but surely. So now I am at 4 out of 5 which is better than before.

And I guess because it’s got sausage in it makes it okay for Real Men to eat it 🙂
