To clarify, I have always cooked dinner. Just far to many different dinners for far too many people, typically not the food choice of the cook herself. To to simplify my life, I decided to implement a few changes:
1. I decide the menu
2. It is served at 6:30pm
3. You can choose whether or not to eat it.
4. If you don’t like it, make yourself a peanut butter sandwich.
After catering to the individual needs of my family of 5 picky eaters (well 3 picky eaters, but VERY picky), making several different meals, or versions of the same meal, served at different times. I decided I needed a change to simplify the dinner hour (or what felt like three hours). I browse through my favorite cookbooks, magazines and blogs, make a meal plan, shop accordingly….. and dinner is simplified for the week. I truly haven’t been this excited about cooking since I first learned how….. so here goes, the meals, the reactions, good bad or indifferent. Hope you find some inspiration.
